General Description :
Solgar Kelp contains Kelp that is derived from the sea. Kelp is a naturally rich source of iodine, which is an essential component of the thyroid hormone that plays a role in growth, development and control of metabolic rate. The iodine from Kelp helps to support healthy thyroid hormone levels. Thyroid hormone also helps regulate the function of mitochondria, which are the energy-producing components of cells.
Solgar Kelp may be able absorb toxins from the bowels which in turn can help reduce acid levels in the body, help reduce serum uric acid levels, helps remove radioactive materials from body, increases and enhances metabolism, mild sedative, mucilage, radiation damage preventative, softens the stool, strengthens connective tissues (bones, hair, nails, skin and teeth), thyroid alterative.

As a food supplement for adults, one (1) tablet daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Ingredients:
Each tablet provides: lodine (from 142 mg of dehydrated North Atlantic kelp) 225 ug Tableted with these natural ingredients: dibasic calcium phosphate, vegetable powdered cellulose, silica, vegetable stearic acid, magnesium stearate.
