General Description :
Solgar Elderberry Extract may help to to reduce the duration of influenza symptoms from an average of 6 days to 48 hours.
The potential benefits of Elderberries in reducing viral infection is thought to stem from an ability to inhibit a mechanism required for viral replication. Elderberries also contain a broad range of powerful antioxidant compounds including polyphenols.
All standardised full potency herbs are combined with a mix of compounds with antioxidant properties to help maintain the herb's freshness, stability and integrity. These include: Mixed Tocopherols; Mixed Carotenoids; Rosemary Extract; Vitamin C.
Solgar Elderberry Extract is suitable for Vegetarian diets.

As an herbal food supplement for adults one (1) to three (3) Vegicaps daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Ingredients:
Each Vegicap provides: Standardised Elderberry Berry Extract (30% polyphenols) 150 mg Raw Elderberry Flower Powder 150 mg In a base of PhytO2X ä (mixed tocopherols, mixed carotenoids, rosemary extract and vitamin C). Encapsulated with natural ingredients: vegetable powdered cellulose, magnesium stearate. Vegicaps capsule shell: vegetable cellulose, vegetable glycerin, water.
